About Grounded Studio 555

Hi, I’m Sofia <3

I’m the person behind Grounded Studio 555.

A few years ago, my life changed in a way I didn’t see coming. At the time, I mostly saw everything I was losing. A relationship, a version of my future I had taken for granted, and a sense of certainty about where my life was going.

But eventually, something else started happening too. I started questioning things I had never really questioned before.

Not just what had happened, but why I had made certain choices in the first place. Why I found some things so difficult to let go of. Why I could understand what I needed logically and still do the opposite. Why I had spent so much time adapting, doubting myself and looking outside of myself for answers.

And somewhere in all of that, I realised something quite uncomfortable: I wasn’t really trying to find myself again. I was getting to know myself properly for the first time.

I had spent so much of my life becoming who I thought I needed to be that I hadn’t stopped very often to ask who I actually was. So I started asking myself different questions.

What do I genuinely enjoy? What do I need? What are my boundaries? What am I doing because it feels right to me, and what am I doing because I’ve simply always done it? What kind of life would I choose if I stopped worrying so much about what it was supposed to look like?

I became fascinated by those questions. I started learning more about human behaviour, patterns, intuition, journaling, mindfulness, the nervous system, Human Design and spirituality. Some things gave me answers. Others simply gave me a different question to think about.

And slowly, I started noticing myself more. Not some perfect, fully figured-out version of myself. Just the real person underneath a lot of old habits, expectations and ways of living that I had never thought to question.

That changed more than I expected. I started making decisions differently. I became more aware of what felt right and what didn’t. I spent more time alone. I became curious about things I had previously been too afraid to do.

Eventually, that curiosity started changing my actual life too. I travelled abroad alone for the first time. I went to places I had dreamed about seeing for years, including the Lofoten Islands. I started doing things outside my comfort zone simply because some part of me wanted to know what would happen if I tried.

And eventually I made one of the biggest decisions yet: I left the security of my full-time career to build something of my own.

I don’t tell you any of this because I think I’ve figured life out. I really haven’t. I still overthink things. I still notice old patterns showing up. I change my mind. I get things wrong. There are parts of myself I’m probably only beginning to understand.

But maybe that’s exactly the point. Understanding yourself isn’t something you finish. You keep noticing, questioning, experiencing and changing. Sometimes you realise that something you were absolutely certain about two years ago doesn’t fit you at all anymore.

And I actually think there’s something exciting about that.

Why Grounded Studio 555 exists

Grounded Studio 555 grew naturally from everything I was learning and experiencing.

I wanted somewhere to explore the things that genuinely fascinate me: why we are the way we are, what sits underneath our patterns, why we ignore our own needs, how intuition shows up, what makes us feel stuck, and what happens when we start making choices that feel more like our own.

So this isn’t a space where I’m going to tell you who you should become. I’d rather help you get curious about who you already are.

Through my writing, intuitive content and digital resources, I share ideas and tools that might help you look at yourself from a slightly different angle. Sometimes that might be a journal prompt. Sometimes a tarot card. Sometimes Human Design, intuition or the moon. Sometimes it’s simply an idea that makes you stop for a second and think, wait… why do I actually do that?

I don’t believe one tool has all the answers. I’m much more interested in what happens when something helps you understand yourself a little better. Because sometimes one small realization changes the way you see a much bigger part of your life.

A little more about me

I’m endlessly curious about people, behaviour, relationships, patterns, the choices we make, the things we’re drawn to without really knowing why, and the difference between what looks good on paper and what actually feels good to live.

I also love travelling and discovering new places. Mountains in particular have my heart. I love hiking, snowboarding and being somewhere that makes me realise how ridiculously small most of the things I’ve been worrying about actually are.

Nature does that to me.

And then there are animals. I’ve always loved them, but over the last few years I’ve started appreciating something about them even more.

Animals have absolutely no interest in your résumé.

They don’t care how productive you were today. They don’t know how much money you make. They’re not impressed by your job title, your followers or how successful your life looks from the outside. They experience you much more simply than that: your presence, your energy, how you treat them and how they feel around you.

I love that. There’s something incredibly grounding about being reminded that underneath everything we spend our lives achieving, proving and performing, we’re still just… us.

And maybe that connects to Grounded Studio 555 more than anything else. I’m interested in what’s underneath. Underneath the patterns, the expectations, the roles, the shoulds, and the version of your life that looks right but somehow doesn’t feel right.

Not because I think there’s one hidden “true self” we eventually uncover and then everything makes sense. I think we’re much more interesting than that. We’re constantly learning, changing and discovering new parts of ourselves.

And maybe the goal isn’t to finally have yourself completely figured out.

Maybe it’s simply to know yourself well enough to build a life that actually feels like yours.

That’s what I’m exploring here.

And I’m really happy you found your way into my little corner of the internet. <3
